Asset and Licence Manager
Activate Asset and Licence Manager allows for the management of Assets to be delegated to users and Asset Owners. Assets can include Software Licences, Mobile Phone Connections, Fixed Phone Extensions, Computers, iPads, Laptops etc.

Activate manages the Asset for the entire Asset lifecycle from provisioning the asset, through to asset transfers between cost centres and finally the disposing of the Asset.
Activate Asset and Licence Manager is integrated with the Activate Services Manager Module to allow the automatic allocation and release of Software Licences and other assets as they are assigned and released by users. This minimises the amount of manual maintenance that is required by IT and means that the asset information is always up to date.
Asset types are easily created and managed using Activate. Asset types could include Software Licences, Computers, Extensions, Mobile Phones etc

Assets can be customised and designed to contain different properties and details depending upon the asset type
Assets are automatically assigned to users when they request a Service that requires an Asset. The user's cost centre can be automatically assigned to the Asset. This cost centre can be changed as users move Roles within Activate

Customisable Asset CatalogueActivates highly customisable Asset catalogue allows you to easily define asset types and the properties associated with each Asset. For example, Software Licences may have maintenance periods etc, while Mobile Phone Assets would have connection and phone number details
Virtual Asset ConsolidationActivate Assets can be set up to synchronise or update in real-time with external asset databases. This allows Activate Assets to maintain a subset of the data in external systems, such as Financial Systems or CMDB's while maintaining a consistent interface and set of end user processes
Bulk ManagementAssets such as Software Licences can be imported or bulk created as part of procurement processes
Automatic Licence and Asset Management with Associated ServicesIn conjunction with Activate Services, Assets such as Software Licences can be automatically assigned and allocated as part of the request process. If no Licences are available then a Workflow or notification can be sent to a Procurement Team
Cost Centre ManagementAn Asset's assigned cost centre can be linked to a user's cost centre. Therefore when a user moves cost centres the user's Assets can be automatically updated, or a Workflow started with the manager to re-assign or return the Assets
ReportingActivate allows for reconciliation of Assets through its use of Dashboards for managing Assets.
